Fleshy ripe black cherry aromas on the nose follow through with those flavours on the palate. Racy acidity for roasted chicken and turkey. Very complex with a long finish.

Pinot Noir food pairings: pork liver pates, tuna, grilled salmon, roasted chicken, duck and other game birds.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Fresh ripe cherry and pomegranate. Chewy and tangy, mouthwatering acidity. Pairs well with bbq pork tenderloin with black currant coulis and quinoa. Tasted 2016 vintage in Jan 2018. 89 points
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Moderate cherry and smoky aromas aromas followed by pronounced ripe cherry, spearmint and mocha flavours with moderate acidity and tannins. There is also a noticeably long warm spicy finish. The juicy acidity I crave in Pinots is surely missed, though. Enjoy with lamb souvlaki. Tasted Jan 2018 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
From Short Hills Bench, Niagara Escarpment, Henry of Pelham Estate grown 2016 Pinot Noir is sourced from among some of their oldest and lowest-yielding vines. Look for fresh, crushed raspberries, red fruit, earthy floral flavours on the palate. Perfect pairing to a roast turkey dish. - Community Wine Reviews
