From Short Hills Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region, Henry Of Pelham Estate 2019 Pinot Noir is produced from sustainably-grown wine grapes. Lovely and inviting on the nose with ripe cranberry, cherry and toasty oak spice; medium-bodied and bright with red currant, raspberry, strawberry, sous bois, earthy fresh mushroom, cinnamon and clove spice flavours on the palate. Nicely balanced with good acidity for food. Pour with a duck confit.

Pinot Noir food pairings: pork liver pates, roasted chicken, duck and other game birds.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A beautiful wine from a winery that consistently delivers on quality and flavour. Aromas of cranberry and red cherry, along with notes of cedar, peppery spice, and a hint of woodsmoke. Medium bodied with drying tannins, bright, mouthwatering acidity, and tart, bright red berries on the palate. The finish is long with more hints of spice and smoke. Enjoy with lamb or duck.
From the Niagara Escarpment wine region, Henry of Pelham Estate 2019 Pinot Noir is produced from sustainably-grown grapes from the Short Hills Bench. Fragrant with ripe berry, cherry and earthy aromas on the nose; medium-bodied, dry and vibrant with bright red berry, sous bois, savoury herbs and well-integrated oak spice flavours on the palate. Well-balanced and nicely done. Lightly chill and pour with a duck confit. - Community Wine Reviews
