Black at heart and soul; gotta love this big Aussie Cabernet. Hails from a cool climate yet rich in flavour. A massive, towering wine with full-on flavour and character. This full-bodied Australian red wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which tend to offer more structure and balance than other red grapes. Finishes with smoke, dried herbs and fleshy black fruit. Decant for 1-2 hours. Pair with grilled ribs tonight.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled New York strip loin with chimichurri sauce, roast leg of lamb and root vegetables, barbecued pork spareribs, veal chops.

Reviews and Ratings

From Langhorne Creek and South Australia's Heartland, Heartland (2013) is produced by Ben Glaetzer, winemaker/vigneron. A massive, towering wine with full-on flavour and character. This full-bodied Australian red wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and has it all balance, backbone and finishes with smoke, dried herbs, licorice and fleshy black fruit. Decant for two hours prior to serving hours. Pair with grilled ribs, grilled steak, anything grilled. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
