Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby red, 14%abv, Malbec Reserve, concentrated aromatics, aged in oak barrel 12 months and 6 months bottle before release. Dark ripe plum, black currant dominant with hint of baking spice and black pepper. Offers a great value option for Argentinas signature grape varietal from a producer celebrating their 146 th year (1870). Pair with gourmet burgers, chili. Tasted Nov 2016 - rated 88/100 - bespoketastings.ca
Dean Engemoen rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Beautiful aromas of plum, vanilla and blackberry. Tons of intense, dark fruit with a hint of coffee on the palate. Tannins are smooth and supple. At this price, it's ridiculous value.
Melissa Desormeaux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Tastes peppery, yummy with spaghetti and Reese's peanut butter cups!!
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A smoky, fruity and spicy Malbec. Aromas are clean with notes of berry fruit, flinty minerality, and anise/mint. Flavours shows ripe blackberry and licorice notes. Enjoy this medium-full bodied with sloppy joes. Tasted Nov 2016 @sommsosa / bespoketastings.ca
