Love this Russian River Valley Chardonnay with bright, ripe red apple, vanilla-lemon pudding and baking spice flavours finishing butterscotchy on the palate. Nicely balanced! Pair it with roast chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: spinach and pepper jack stuffed chicken, scallops with a sesame ginger dressing, toasted ravioli served with Alfredo sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Russian River Valley, Girard 2018 Chardonnay is produced by winemaker Glenn Hugo who became a winemaker in 2003. Vibrant with layers of ripe stone fruit, buttered toast, toffee, cake spice and smoky flavours on the palate. The wine rested 12 months on its lees in 35% new French oak. Great acidity for food and finishes long and satisfying. - Community Wine Reviews
