From the Pays D'oc Gérard Bertrand 2016 is a pretty, pale Gris Blanc rosé, a blend of Grenache Noir and Grenache Gris wine grapes that were hand-picked between Tautavel and the Pyrenees mountains. The wine is matured on the fine lees for several weeks before bottling. Lovely, ripe yellow plum, peach and citrus peel flavours on the palate, pair this one with grilled shellfish.

Gris Blanc Rosé food pairings: seafood salad, chilled prawns with strawberry champagne dressing, seafood ceviche.

Reviews and Ratings

Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Very pale pink with faint aromas of strawberries and a hint of vanilla.

Don't be fooled by its colour, this wine has lots of flavour of strawberries, citrus and a bit of spice

This is lovely on its own to sip on a hot summer day or with seafood.

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely, lively acidity. Strawberries, cream, citrus, a hit of flower blossom and some unripe stone fruit. This is high-performing rose. 90 Points.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of slightly underripe strawberry, peach and a hint of lemon. Soft and balanced on the palate, with a nice sooth texture balanced with some medium acidity and more orchard and citrus fruit on the palate. Enjoy with white fish or grilled calamari.
