From Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California, Frei Brothers Winery Reserve 2022 is a zesty, toasty and vibrant Californian Chardonnay. The Frei family has been making wine for 126 years, starting in 1890 with Andrew Frei, who immigrated to California from Switzerland. The winery was owned by the Frei family until the late 1970s, then bought by the Gallo family. Fresh with ripe apple, pear, lemon curd, cantaloup and soft citrus flavours, the wine opens up on the palate with buttered toast and soft spicy notes. Very elegant and tasty, enjoy this dry, medium-plus-bodied and fresh Chard with grilled lobster dishes or Sunday night roast chicken dinner.

Chardonnay food pairings: scallops, grilled chicken breast, veal chops.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
