Francis Ford Coppola's Director's Cut is a robust Cabernet Sauvignon from cooler-climate Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California. The winemaker here is Corey Beck, and his Alexander Valley Cabernet has earned high praise with its deep purple colour and richly textured wine. Tannins are elegant. This is a well-balanced Cab. Decant for one hour and enjoy with movie night.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: pork tenderloin, spaghetti with meatballs and sausage, roast lamb, game meats, slow-roasted beef.

Reviews and Ratings

Francis Ford Coppola Director's Cut 2015 is a well-made robust red with black fruit and mocha notes: Like a blockbuster, this full body wine from Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California, reveals fruity aromas of dark skin plum, fresh lavender, mint, pepper and cedar. This cast displays tart plum, fern, pepper, a touch of vanilla and cedar. Without being to grippy, the tannins are elegant and the acidity is agreeable. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
