A weighty, barrel-fermented, low-yield Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough wine region. Rich, with great structure from lees ageing, mouth filling and creamy with citrusy, dried pineapple, green herbs and pink grapefruit flavours on the palate with a lingering nutty finish from the lees ageing. Chill and enjoy.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: seafood stew, raw oysters on the shell, chilled steamed crab.

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Gentle notes of fresh grass and minerality on the nose. This is an elegant, beautifully balanced Sauvignon Blanc with just the right notes of savoury, citrus and salinity on the nose and palate. Finishes up with a delightful, lingering finish. Would pair well with grilled white fish. Tasted July 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Framingham 2017 is a juicy and vibrant Sauvignon Blanc. Fragrant with orange blossom and grassy aromas, dry with juicy grapefruit, citrus and leesy flavours on the palate. Well-structured and zesty. - Community Wine Reviews
