From the Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region, Flat Rock's Riddled is a medium-bodied clean, crisp Blanc de Blancs sparkling white with a creamy bubble on the palate. This Ontario bubbly is made from 100% Chardonnay wine grapes and is fresh, crisp with crunchy green apple and stone fruit, and was named "Riddled" as a tribute to the process of making sparkling wine, especially the traditional ways in Champagne, where bottles were turned periodically, or riddled, as they rested upside down on their lees (sediment) before disgorging that sediment and putting the final big cork in the bottle. Riddled 2011 was awarded a Gold Medal winner at the 2018 National Wine Awards of Canada.

Sparkling food pairings: seafood, mushroom risotto, cold chicken sammies.

Flat Rock's Riddled 2011 is a traditional method sparkler produced with 100% Chardonnay wine grapes from the Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region. Riddled is a medium-bodied clean, crisp Blanc de Blancs sparkling white with a creamy bubble on the palate. Elegant and bone-dry, with lemon curd, brioche and citrus zest flavours on the palate. The bubble was matured on its lees in bottle for more than five years prior to release. - Community Wine Reviews
