A lip-smacking, delicious medium-bodied 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah red wine blend with elevage in concrete tanks. Look for bright and ripe red and dark berry fruit with dried herbs, dark cherry, smoked meat, cedar spice and pepper spice flavours on the palate. Enjoy with a grilled pork tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

Allison rated this wine as 95/100
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of blackberry and black cherry, along with dried herbs, cigar box and peppery spice. Medium-full bodied, with medium+ acidity, plush, dark berry flavours and a smoky, spicy finish on the palate. At under $17 in Ontario, this is a great value. Enjoy with roast beef.
Ferraton Père & Fils Samorëns 2018 is a left bank Rhône Valley red, smoky with ripe fleshy dark berry aromas and juicy blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, garrigue herb, baking spice and liquorice flavours. Finishes savoury, smoky and long on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews
