Aromas of rhubarb-strawberry compote, tinge of sweet raspberry, mostly lovely mouth-watering juiciness. Lovely ballet slipper pink. Finishes crisp and clean. Spritely, refreshing and light with wild field berry aromas.

Rosé food pairings: avocado spring greens and strawberry salad, corn pineapple avocado and kale salad with strawberry dressing, golden beet salad with spring onion and goat cheese.

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lovely primary fruit aromas and flavours of cranberry, red cherry and red currant, along with undertones of rhubarb stock, pepper, red flowers, and a hint of dried strawberry. 89 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A lovely rose showing a more full flavoured style with a fully dry backbone. I agree with the salad food pairing as long as there is no element to the salad which would add sweetness.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Featherstone's 2013 Rosé won an impressive double gold medal at the 2014 Ontario Wine Awards. Year after year this value priced wine delivers on quality and taste, in a dry and palate cleansing style, making it a great wine for any occasion. Dry with juicy fruit, it’s super versatile, making it great on its own, and complements charcuterie platters, grilled fish, or sweet and tangy BBQ dishes. Tasted August 2016. 88+ points. This lovely Niagara rosé is a blend of Merlot, Gamay and Cabernet Franc grapes. The wine is a brilliant cranberry colour with a nose of roses, fresh red berry fruit, earthy violets and white pepper. Just a great drink-now (and lots) wine. - Community Wine Reviews
