This is the magnum-size of this full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon-driven red blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon with dollops of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot sourced from the Coombsville wine region. Look for ripe dark plum, blackberry, wild herb and cedar spice flavours on this vibrant red. Tannins are firm and grippy. Drink or hold. Pair with a well-marbled steak from the grill or roast beef.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: pork roast, vegetarian stew, slow-roasted beef long ribs.

Reviews and Ratings

This is the dinner-party size of this broody and full-bodied Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon-driven red wine blend. Faust 2017 1500 ml is produced from mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with some Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot added. The blended wine was aged for over a year and a half in 30% new French oak barrels. Rich and dark with ripe blackberry, black currant, underbrush, garrigue herb and savoury spice flavours on this food-friendly red wine. Tannins are grippy. Pour with a well-marbled beef steak from the grill or roast beef dinner. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
