Robust and powerful, Fattoi 2013 is a full-bodied Brunello Di Montalcino from the Tuscany wine region. Plush, opulent layers of black plum, blackberry and smoke. Long and satisfying. Finishes with wild truffle, violets, black cherry and cigar box. Velvety on the palate with well-integrated tannins. Decant two hours prior to serving it with mature cheeses and game meats.

Brunello Di Montalcino food pairings: beef bourguignon, spinach and pepper jack stuffed chicken, toasted ravioli served with Alfredo sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Fattoi 2013 is a full-bodied, muscular and smoky Brunello Di Montalcino from the Tuscany wine region. Lots of blue florals, dark truffles, black cherry, cedar spice and smoke on this intense and opulent red with a long juicy dark cherry, plum and smoky finish.. Velvety on the palate with well-integrated tannins. Would also benefit from some time in cellar -- about three years. If pouring now, decant two hours prior to serving it with mature cheeses and game meats. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
