This Tavel is produced from the well-known family-owned winery, Family Perrin. Rich and bone-dry with bright acidity, it is a 50% Cinsault, 25% Grenache and 25% Mourvèdre rosé wine blend. Look for fresh raspberry, strawberry, dried herb and spicy flavours on the palate. Pair with grilled salmon steaks.

Tavel food pairings: grilled salmon steak, shellfish, fresh fruit, veggies, pasta primavera.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Rosé in the fall is a great idea!! This is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Mouvèdre, with aromas of ripe strawberry, watermelon candy and some herbaceous hints. Bright acidity on the palate with fresh, ripe fruit and berry notes and a zippy citrus finish. Enjoy with salmon, turkey, or roast pork tenderloin.
From a well-known producer famous for their Tavel wines. Pretty salmon colour in the glass, the rosé is bone dry, fragrant with pink florals, spice and fresh herb aromas on the nose. Bright and zesty with cherry, raspberry, pink grapefruit zest and light savoury herb flavours on the palate. Vibrant on the finish and easy to enjoy. Pair with smoked fish, but would equally go well with grilled pork chops. - Community Wine Reviews
