A full-bodied and pleasant Argentine Cabernet, with Bordeaux leanings and styling in its balance, elegance and restraint. Aromas of black fruit with balanced use of oak. Good price. Pair with rare steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: roast leg of lamb, barbecued ribs in sauce, hamburger, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A Bordeaux in sheeps clothing. Dry, structured, big tannins, this is a great example of big left bank wine being produced in Argentina. Stylistically this wine is meant to be enjoyed with rustic protein rich dishes that help soften the big tannins. Dark berries, chocolate, leather, herbs. Very impresseive. Enjoy 2015-2020+. Tasted January 2015. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
The 2012 vintage of this Argentine Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon sources grapes from the region of Lujan de Cuyo. Lots of hearty black fruit aromas, smoke and tannin. - Community Wine Reviews
