From the Wagner Family of Wine's winemaker Jenny Wagner, Emmolo 2021 Sauvignon Blanc is fragrant with lime, citrus, tropical fruit, lemongrass, fine herb and minerally flavours on the palate. The wine is so named for Jenny's great-grandfather, Salvatore Emmolo, who immigrated from Italy to Rutherford in 1923 and started a grapevine rootstock nursery. Chill and enjoy with seafood dishes.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: seafood, light pastas, spring green salads, goat cheese and baguette.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Fresh, bright and lovely for summer. Aromas of lemon grass, melon, lime and fresh green herbs. Light bodied on the palate with medium+ acidity, vibrant citrus notes and a crisp, clean finish. Enjoy with any fresh seafood.
