An elegant, medium-plus-bodied Pinot Noir with great structure and fine tannins. Fragrant with aromas of ripe cherry, violets, mocha and vanilla on the nose. Lovely ripe cherry, mocha, vanilla and fine herb flavours on the palate with great acidity for food and finishing with velvety tannins. Enjoy now with grilled lamb chops.

Pinot Noir food pairings: veal chops, rosemary lamb, barbecued ribs in sauce, chicken cacciatore.

Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep dark red colour and mouth filling red fruit to match. Easy drinking, commercial style with plenty of oak spice and a voluptuous approachable finish. Serve it with grilled beef tacos. @wrightwineblog
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Cherry all around here - colour, aromas and on a hint of spice on the palate. Black cherry leaning toward the jammy end of the spectrum. Medium body, medium finish. Tasted October 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
From Oregon Elouan 2016 Pinot Noir is a juicy, weight PN produced from grapes sourced in the Umpqua, Willamette and Rogue Valleys. Rich with lots of ripe, concentrated red berry fruit, mocha, vanilla and a lingering earthy finish and light toast on the palate. Tannins are smooth and velvety. So much to enjoy here. - Community Wine Reviews
