Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Christmas office party wine. The name means "good light". The wine grapes are grown in an area that is a northern location that enjoys lots of sun. Aroma of ripe cranberry, bing cherry, spice.
I call this a Darth Vader -Pinot Noir because it is dark and mysterious with power. Red plum, bright cherry, minerality, dusty earth, sweet tobacco, per the winemakers, I agree.
This wine can seduce Pinot lovers to the dark side and those who find Pinot's to light to respond with, I like this!
Shared with a good friend the $30 price is worth it.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
