A rich and bold Barossa Shiraz fragrant with blackberry, vanilla and savoury spice aromas. Lush with blackberry, spiced plum, cocoa, cedar brush and vanilla flavours on the palate. Tannins are fine.

Shiraz food pairings: beef prosciutto, black bean soup, blue cheese, lamb shank.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Barossa, Elderton Command 2016 Shiraz is produced from a single vineyard with 120-year-old vines. Big and bold with a ton of ripe, tarry dark fruit, dark chocolate flavours, spicy and smoky with balanced acidity. Good now, but would benefit from a few years in cellar. Try in 2024. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
