A dark and robust red wine fragrant with ripe cherry, blackberry, blueberry and subtle spicy aromas. Powerful and intense on the palate with spiced plum, black currant, blackberry, minty, savoury herbs and structured tannins. Drink or hold. Pair with game dishes.

Pyrenees Shiraz food pairings: filet mignon, peppery or spicy hearty meat dish, radicchio, lamb cutlets.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a lovely Shiraz showing some age but still lots of life. Aromas of dark fruit, spice and smoke. Full bodied, smooth with ripe dark fruit, a bit of a bramble note and a spicy, smoky finish. Enjoy with grilled meats.
From M. Chapoutier, Tournon Shays Flat Vineyard 2013 Shiraz is a gorgeous Australian red wine with dark cherry, blackberry, blueberry, smoky and spicy with pepper and sweet spice flavours on the palate. This gorgeous Shiraz has it all and will only get better with time. - Community Wine Reviews
