This Tavel is so juicy with vibrant red currant, raspberry, orange zest and wild herb flavours finishing spicy on the palate. Dry and full-bodied, enjoy with a picnic and cold turkey and arugula sandwiches.

Rosé food pairings: grilled chicken breast stuffed with ham and cheese, flattened Cornish hen with savoury dressing.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Lovely! Aromas of strawberry, cherry and melon with a hint of warm citrus. Medium bodied and smooth on the palate, a bit rich from alcohol, but nicely balanced with some mouthwatering acidity. Berry flavours are fresh and ripe, with an almost candied hint, and there is vibrant, crisp citrus on the finish. Enjoy with grilled pork or cedar-planked salmon.
A brilliant Tavel produced by Domaine Maby, La Forcadière 2019 is a lively, juicy and vibrant Grenache-based, racy rosé from the Rhône wine region. Love the crushed raspberry and spicy nose on this wine. Dry, medium-bodied with ripe raspberry, cherry, fine herbs and finishing spicy. Enjoy with pork tenderloin. - Community Wine Reviews
