Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A young, spicy Malbec, with aromas of pepper, ripe red fruit, and blackberries. Similar flavours on the palate with oak and spice complementing the pepper.
Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Priya: I completely underestimated this wine. I thought - oh a malbec, eh - but I was wrong. Yummy cooked jam smell, round, rich and fruity. Tastes exactly how it smells - robust and fruity, spicy and warm. Doesn't really do well on the 2nd night but it probably wouldn't have lasted long if I hadn't opened it alone! 89 pts

Alex: You said it all Priya - This powerful malbec packs quite a bunch at its price point, fat and lush with some savoury nuance to add dimension to its massive, smoky black fruit. Round and easy-drinking, straight up pleasure for the majority of folks at yournext dinner party. A fine value. 86 pts
Chris Coughlin - WSET level 3 grad rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Tasty red and black fruit flavours of blackberry, raspberry, red cherry, and some spice and pepper. Would pair well with burgers or grilled pork dishes, enjoy.
Shelley Harris rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied red wine with deep fruity notes and peppery taste. This would pair very well with a grilled pepper steak.
