Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely Chablis from Burgundy in France - this wine does not disappoint. The bouquet is elegant with hints of floral and mineral. The palate is refreshing and clean with flavors of red and golden apples, white orchard petals, and a stoney minerality. Enjoyable on its own or with lighter tapas dishes - chicken satay comes to mind. Enjoy!
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted August 3rd, 2018. Colour clear, brilliant, light yellow gold. Legs thin. Aromas and flavours of yellow apple, minerality, floral notes. Taste dry, medium mouthfeel, mouthwatering, yellow apple fruit, low alcohol, finish short plus. A nice entry level Chardonnay from Burgandy from a old family winery and vineyard that adhears to the traditional winemaking with modern help. Visit wine site for more info. I matched this wine with Halibut. Good match. The wine is also made to pair with Burgundian snails.
A little pricey but when you consider how much Halibut costs the wine is worth the splurge.
Domaine du Colombier 2017 is a clean and crisp, dry lime-lemon zesty Chablis from the Burgundy wine region. Domaine du Colombier has been a family business since 1887. When Guy Mothe took over the property in 1957, the focus was on making Chablis. Now, his three sons Jean Louis, Thierry and Vincent operate 51 hectares of vineyards. - Community Wine Reviews
