Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Pouilly Fuissé is an experience I look forward to and this one opens with a lovely buttery, lightly oaked nose. The oak is nicely integrated on the palate. This is elegant and smooth with a long, delicious finish. Balanced, not overly rich but a very satisfying pour. Sip on its own or serve with chicken. Tasted August 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An extremely balanced white Burgundy with a perfect combination of stone fruit richness, soft touch of oak, nuttiness, floral notes and fresh minerality. This wine has appealing granny smith apple, apricot and white peach notes, as well as a long mouth-watering finish. Enjoy this wine with grilled seafood dishes, variety of salads, or just on its own.
From Collovray et JL. Terrier in the Burgundy wine region, Deux Roches 2016 is produced from 60- to 90-year-old-vines Chardonnay. Lovely nutty aromas on the nose with ripe stone-fruit, white floral, lanolin and mineral flavours on the palate. Vibrant acidity for roast chicken and grilled shellfish. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
