Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A fuller, more rich style of rose wine - which is hinted by its strong pink, on the verge of red, colour. Raspberries and quite a lot of wild strawberries are noticeable on the palate. Quite enjoyable with a medium palate, completed with subtle hints of honeycomb and orange peel.
Delas Saint-Esprit 2018 is a well-priced Côtes Du Rhône Rosé under $17. Bone-dry and refreshing, it is a zesty blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grapes produced in the saignée method of "bleeding" or siphoning off free-run juice after a short maceration on the skins. Zesty with wild strawberries, raspberry, cranberry and rhubarb flavours on the palate. The winery was founded 160 years ago and is owned by the Lallier-Deutz family, the same owners of Champagne Deutz. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
