Dry and refreshing with notes of fleeting strawberries on a summer breeze. Lovely salmon pink colour here on this bone-dry French rosé. Finishes with strawberries and rhubarb. Pair with pate or cold chicken sandwiches beside yonder babbling brook.

Rosé food pairings: summer salads, grilled chicken breast, calamari, grilled white fish.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A pale strawberry pink colour with a delicate strawberry and watermelon nose. The very tasty palate shows raspberry, strawberry, slight citrus & a hint of dried herbs,a very appetizing combination. Dry mouthfeel with a long berry/citrus finish. Summertime and the living is easy...
This zesty dry French rose is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsaut grapes that uses the saignée method of "bleeding" or siphoning off free-run juice after a short maceration on the skins – 18 hours in this case. The free-run juice is always the best, most flavourful, least rugged from the press of the grapes and results in superior wine like this one. - Community Wine Reviews
