Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

From Culmina's mineral-rich Arise Bench vineyard located high up on the Golden Mile Bench in the Okanagan Valley, Culmina's Cabernet Sauvignon shows the intensity, complexity, and elegance the wines from this premium Okanagan winery are renowned for year after year. 2018 Cabernet shows delicious blackberry, cassis, dark chocolate, graphite minerality, and sous bois on the nose. The palate is full bodied, refreshing, with savoury dark fruit and fine textured tannins persisting on the long finish. Impressive Cabernet that's showing well now and will continue to evolve whilst maintaining that great structure and balance over the next decade. Enjoy now with butter-basted grilled steak or mushroom risotto as it ages. Tasted November 2022. 92-93 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
