Produced by the Famille Perrin, Coudoulet de Beaucastel 2016 is a juicy, medium-plus-bodied Côtes Du Rhône red wine blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah and 10% Cinsault. Food pairings: braised meats, herbed steaks, venison.

From the Famille Perrin, Coudoulet de Beaucastel 2016 is a juicy, medium-plus-bodied and easy-drinking Côtes Du Rhône red wine blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah and 10% Cinsault. Each varietal is hand-harvested and vinified separately, blended and aged in oak foudres for six months. Plushy with a silky texture and juicy with ripe cherry, raspberry, red plum and blackberries on the palate. Tannins are fine and velvety and there is good acidity for food on this elegant red. Enjoy now and pair with veal medallions in a rich wild mushroom sauce. In 1687, the wine estate of Pierre de Beaucastel was ennobled by King Louis XIV, and has continued its heritage in the history of Rhone Valley winemaking. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
