A deep ruby, full-bodied Brunello Di Montalcino from the Tuscany Wine Region produced from Sangiovese wine grapes grown 300 metres above sea level and are hand-harvested with controlled yields of 46 q/ha (maximum allowed 80q/ha). Look for ripe dark cherry, plum with earthy, meaty, spicy flavours, dried florals and herb flavours on the palate. Enjoy now and for the next eight year. Pair with rich meat dishes.

Brunello di Montalcino food pairings: roast pork, venison stew, lamburgers.

Reviews and Ratings

Col D'orcia 2014 Brunello Di Montalcino is produced with low-yielding Sangiovese wine grapes (46 q/ha (maximum allowed 80q/ha). Conditions in Col d'Orcia were much warmer in 2014 than other areas of this wine region where is it was mostly cool and wet. Look for ripe cherry, earthy, meaty and spicy flavours on this medium-plus-bodied Brunello. - Community Wine Reviews
