Natalie's Score: 90/100

A rich and concentrated Tannat and Cabernet Franc sourced from the Madiran Wine Region with ripe dark fruit and tanned leather aromas on the nose. Rich dark plum, blueberry, black raspberry, dried fine herbs and sweet cake spice on the palate. Finishes long and savoury. Decant for one hour prior to pouring with a well-marbled grilled steak or cellar for a couple years.

Tannat Cabernet Franc food pairings: rare grilled meats, game dishes, sausage cassoulet.

Reviews and Ratings

Produced by the Famille Lesgourgues from the Southwest of France wine region, a robust and juicy Tannat and Cabernet Franc red wine blend. Pronounced on the nose with blackberry jam, violets and spicy aromas. Dry, savoury and rich with dark fruit, black raspberry, cocoa and baking spice flavours smooth and velvety on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
