Château Moncontour Cuvée Prédilection 2017 Sparkling Vouvray is produced from 100% Chenin Blanc from the Loire wine region. Love the sweet almond nose on this spicy, creamy and rich bubble with honeyed almond, apple compote flavours all balanced with mouth-watering acidity. Drink now and often at this price. This wine spent 18 months on its lees giving it a nice richness and weight.

Brut Sparkling Vouvray food pairings: shellfish, linguine carbonara, cheddar dill puffs.

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Made by traditional method this sparkling Vouvray is 100% Chenin Blanc from the Loire. It has a pronounced nose of honey, peach, apricot, with a hint of white flowers and pear and apple. Mouthfeel is creamy and rich; high aciditry, and slightly off dry. My NYE pick with smoked trout fish cakes with dill dip, chicken and feta bites with cranberry and cheese straws. Scrumptious!

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
