Produced by Aubert Frères, Château le Grand Retour Plan De Dieu 2019 is an excellent value Cotes du Rhone-Villages at $17. Dry, medium-bodied and elegant, this Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre red wine blend is produced from vines up to 45 years of age. Rich and supple with well-defined dark plum, baking spice, meat and minerally flavours on the palate. Enjoy with grilled egg plant, bocconcini and red pepper paninis.

Food pairings: gourmet hamburgers, grilled pork chops, barbecued steak.
