Reviews and Ratings

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2012 Château des Charmes Paul Bosc Estate Chardonnay, fermented and aged on lees for 12 months in French oak barrels, has subtle yet elegant aromas of limestone minerality, lime and green apple on the nose and more pronounced notes of lemon, green apple, oak, vanilla, coconut and subtle lees on the palate. It is a light to medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity to integrated wine; with crisp acidity (not that common in oaked Chards) and a long, clean finish with creamy vanilla and coconut (decant for at least 15 minutes). This is a food friendly (worked with steak) and sipping wine; drink now and for the next 5-10 years (cork enclosure). My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 89 pts – recommended for both, its quality and value. Tasted in Sep/14.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
