Château des Charmes Cuvée D'andrée 2021 is a bright, full-bodied, saignée method Pinot Noir rosé, lush with fresh, ripe strawberry and watermelon aromas, bright on the palate with red berry, cherry, fine herb and flinty mineral flavours. So good now, chill and enjoy it with a grilled pork tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

In my glass this unoaked creation is fruity and refreshing, with fresh notes like strawberry and cranberry from pour to finish. For me, its appeal is its simplicity.

Crafted with Pinot Noir from Château des Charmes own vineyards in Ontario’s Niagara on the Lake appellation, this medium body rosé feels lovely. Extra dry, pumped-up acidity, with a pleasing lightly tongue coating character that helps the flavours linger on my taste buds.

Why is this wine called Cuveé d’Andrée? Because it is lovingly named after the vineyard’s Matriarch, Madame Andrée Bosc.

PS - This Vineyard has taken the step to have this wine certified sustainable by Winemaking Ontario. For more information about Winemaking Ontario certification, visit https://sustainablewinegrowingontario.ca
