Wow, what an interesting juicy, savoury mostly Syrah with 5% Mourvèdre all sourced from a single vineyard. Rich and fresh, 40% of the wine fermented with whole-clustered grapes adding fresh fruity flavours to this savoury full-bodied red smooth on the palate with dark berry, olive and grilled bacon flavours. What more could you want except a big juicy steak to go with it?

Food pairings: cheese pizza, filet mignon, pork tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

Alan Dunne rated this wine as 93/100
Château De Nages Jt 2015 is a rich and juicy Syrah and Mourvèdre red wine blend from the Costières De Nîmes wine region and produced by the Famille Gassier. Robust, dry with black cherry, smoked meat and dried herb smooth and full on the palate. Pair with a sausage cassoulet. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
