Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

An elegant nose of ripe red fruit and stewed dark fruit. A delicious rich palate with stewed dark fruit, ripe cassis, vanilla, baking spice, earth and well-integrated oak. Rich long dark fruit finish.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Wow! Rich and concentrated. Loads of dark berries, with lovely fresh herbs. Great structure, with big tannins, high acidity, and the fruit concentration to permit this Right Bank beauty to age gracefully for several years. Decant one hour prior to service, and enjoy with braised beef, steak frites. 92 points. Tasted March 2015. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a beauty! A dark and brooding Right Bank St. Emillion Grand Cru with concentrated black fruit, leather, tar, cedar. Plenty of tannins and medium+ acidity on the palate. Flavours include black pepper, cassis, cigar box , cloves. There's lots of potential for ageing here. A lingering warm spice and fruit finish. I would love to taste this wine in 10 years. Pair with really good steak. Decant at least 2 hours.
