Gorgeous, complex and still tight: needs cellar time, please! Dark fruit, smoke, tar and pencil led. A model of its kind, this beautiful Bordeaux finishes with gorgeous aromas of dried tobacco leaves. Terrific structure, weight, balance and length. Leaves you wishing for the economy to recover soon so that this could become your house wine.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

And so my love affair with Bordeaux begins. This gorgeous blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot is a treat. Harvested manually - the grapes are picked by hand. Full-bodied flavors and aromas of black fruit, cassis, pencil shavings and a hint of coffee. This was one of the wines I got to enjoy on my journey to becoming a Sommelier. Ideal for even more ageing.
This full-bodied red wine is a blend of cabernet sauvignon, caberet franc and merlot grapes. A consistently strong producer of classic Bordeaux wines. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, undated
