Cave Spring, Cave Spring Vineyard 2022 Cabernet Franc is produced from sustainably grown estate grapes and was bottled unfiltered. Great value at $21, it is elegant, dry and full-bodied, rich with dark plum, dark cherry, crushed raspberry, cassis and savoury herb flavours with subtle spicy notes on the palate and a lingering smoky finish. Drink or hold to 2027.

Cabernet Franc food pairings: pasta with Bolognese sauce, mushroom risotto, coq au vin, roasted guinea hen or game birds, steak tartar, hearty beef stews.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
