Wow! love the layers of lychee, rose petal, ripe stone fruit and ginger spice flavours on the super popular Gewürztraminer from the Beamsville Bench. Mouth-filling and well-balanced.

Gewürztraminer food pairings: chicken kebabs with lemon. Lemon herb roast pork tenderloin, pan-fried poor boy oyster sammies.

Trent Mayers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

When Cave Spring replanted their vineyards, they kept only one row of Gewurztraminer because they love the grape, not because it is easy to grow in Niagara. That being said, this is a very good wine. It's off dry and full bodied mixing pure lychee fruit blended with rose, honey, minerals, pineapple, candied orange peel, and clove spice. Pair it with a mild vegetarian curry, smoked salmon, or Thai food. I'm thinking this will hold until at least 2024, possibly longer. 4 stars out of 5.
From Beamsville Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine country, Cave Spring Estate 2017 Gewürztraminer is excellent value under $20. Spicy and floral on the nose with rosewater, lychee, honey and ginger flavours and great acidity for food. Cave Spring Winery is one of the best wineries in Ontario. - Community Wine Reviews
