Ultra-dry with a tannic grip yet there's also mouth-watering acidity. Dark cherry and smoke. Needs cellar time.

Reviews and Ratings

Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Where do I start? Earthy rich cherry on the nose with some red licorice, leather and subtle spice. It is equally unctuous on the palate with some solid acidity to back everything up. The tannins and body are moderate-plus. I want my mom's spaghetti bolognese with this beauty! The wine is good to go now, but if you have the willpower to wait, it will benefit from further aging (2-5 years). By the way, the finish is still lingering in my mouth.....
