Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Great flavors of dark fruit, fresh herbal and earthy notes, and hints oak serve the wine elegantly. Polished tannins with layered of acidity, provide a classic dry finish from this amazing sipper. Enjoy!

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

There’s goodness happening in this Tuscan red from its aromas to its finish. Pretty red berry and spice aromas hover about delicious flavours reminiscent of cherry preserves and savoury spices. This medium bodied blend has feel appeal, a tactile charisma highlighted with approachable tannins, zero sweetness and a lingering, fruit focussed finish.

PS - Sangiovese takes top billing in this 100% food friendly blend. I’d served this with firm cheeses as well as grilled root veggies and meats any day. Enjoy.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
