Reviews and Ratings

Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous blueberry and raspberry on the nose. 'Walking Dead' long legs on this wine with a long finish. Delightful wine to sip all day...and night. Well worth the 'wine mouth' or 'zombie mouth' of this dark red! Delicious and fantastic value!
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Wow, this California Cab is a big, bold and succulent. It pours purple in colour and is teaming with aromas of plum, blackberry, mocha, cassis and raspberry. On the palate you get rich flavours of dark berries and chocolate. This cab is full bodied and well balanced with soft tannins. This wine will be great at your next BBQ to pair will grilled red meats. A steal and terrific value at this price point. If you love Cabernet Sauvignon grab a bottle, you will not be disappointed. Tasted on July 30, 2017.
Frazer Smith rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Heady aromas of blueberry, cassis and toasted oak have a velvety mouth feel, and a lingering blueberry finish. Lively for such a bold wine, and the softer tannins make this ideal for a variety of meals, from barbecued burgers to camp fire s'mores!
Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The Carnivor Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 is a great pairing for your grilled meats! This full bodied wine has dark berry fruit, blackberry, slight coffee and caramel on the nose. Great wine under $20! Tasted November 2016 (90/100)
Donna Hargrove rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A blend of toast, caramel, blackberry on the palate. Hint of sweetness on the finish. Great with red meats and tomato pasta dishes.
Luc Delorme rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Big, bold nose of rich dark cherry and pepper, this deep purple cab presents itself in the typical Californian style. The first sip reveals that the tannins are in line with the deep colour of the wine. Ripe fruit and peppery notes persist on the palate, with a level of acidity that is not always seen in a California Cab. It's a New World wine that drinks a bit more like an Old World one.

The alcohol is well-integrated with the tannins, and makes for a very nice wine to for grilled red meats. Good value for a Californian Cab.
Martin Jutras rated this wine as 86/100
Donna reviewed this wine as follows:
