Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Delicious nose shows ripe cassis, dark chocolate and sweet spice- palate adds sous bois and subtle oak. Lingering finish- enjoy with grilled lamb or steak.
Tasted July 2018
Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A nice value classic CS from Cali. Loads of aromatics, with ample oak. A touch of sweetness and a purity of cassis fruit. Made to order for the marketplace.
Cannonball is a perennial favourite and this 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon will also not disappoint. On the nose, lovely mocha and smoky notes. On the palate, dry, smooth with ripe dark fruit, dark chocolate, spice and smoky vanilla. So easy to enjoy. Pair with burgers on the grill. - Community Wine Reviews
