Reviews and Ratings

Lots of chocolate and sweet mocha form oak aging on the nose and palate of this Californian red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Sweet blackberry pie on the finish. Pair with Mexican mole. MINE: Lots of chocolate and sweet mocha on this California Cabernet from the Napa Valley. Almost a dozen years ago, Stefano Migotto, Valentina Guolo-Migotto and Dario De Conti - launched Ca' Momi as a passion project in the Napa Valley. OTHER: Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows: Tasted Sept. 20, 2017 at wine club. Ruby red plus, good legs. Aromas and flavours, black cherry, black current, baking spices. Taste dry, fruity, medium mouthfeel, medium tannins, mouth-watering finish. Easy to drink, with a smooth fruit finish. This wine was 3rd out 5 of our tastings. I did not find it to be a better value than the others at $30 it is pricey. Worth a try and nice to drink. Try it with a prime rib roast. OTHER: Made in a fruit-forward style, this Napa Cabernet is overflowing with big flavours of juicy black cherry, cassis, vanilla and coffee. Ca' Momi intends their wines for enjoyment in the company of family, friends and a great meal. We heartily agree, and recommend a menu featuring braised rack of lamb with garlic and thyme. Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
