Lots of chocolate and sweet mocha form oak aging on the nose and palate of this Californian red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Sweet blackberry pie on the finish. Pair with Mexican mole.

Tasted Sept. 20, 2017 at wine club. Ruby red plus, good legs. Aromas and flavours, black cherry, black current, baking spices. Taste dry, fruity, medium mouthfeel, medium tannins, mouthwatering finish. Easy to drink, with a smooth fruit finish. This wine was 3rd out 5 of our tastings. I did not find it to be a better value than the others at $30 it is pricey. Worth a try and nice to drink. Try it with a prime rib roast.
