Natalie's Score: 90/100

This full-bodied red wine was fermented in stainless steel; half of the wine was matured in small French oak barrels, of which about 40% new, and the remaining half in stainless steel tank. Loaded with mocha and sweet chocolate aromas on the nose that are then flooded with lusciously ripe black fruit on the palate. Full-bodied and smooth.

Garnacha food pairings: veal, soft cheese, roast pork, lamb, turkey.

Reviews and Ratings

George rated this wine as 93/100
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A wonderful opaque deep ruby red aromatic Garnacha harvested from old vines to produce concentrated flavours. On the nose, ripe blackberries and strawberries, vanilla and toast. The palate shows ripe blackberries, strawberries, vanilla, oak, leather and nuances of cloves. Soft tannins and a long, spicy ripe berry fruit finish make this a sensuous pleasure.
Works extremely well with grilled lamb chops or steak.
