This Californian Zinfandel is made from organic grapes and the winery practises sustainable viticulture, but that's not its main selling point - flavour is! Big, juicy black fruit wrapped lovingly in a warm blanket of toasty oak. This wine would make even cold pizza (topped with free range chicken of course) taste good.

Zinfandel food pairings: turkey, pizza, burgers, rack of lamb, roast duck.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

I seem to be on a Zinfandel mission... and this is a great one from California, and it's organic. Ripe juicy fruits like blackberry and blueberry with complimenting flavors of pepper, spice and toasty vanilla. It's very well-balanced and elegant. It's heaven in a glass. There are a wide array of foods this wine pairs well with, however, I enjoyed it all by itself and it was perfection.
The Platonic ideal of blackberry richness. Lifted dark fruit flavours and smoky oak. Organically grown grapes produce a ripened intensity here. Polished tannins, great weight and a long finish with dark spices. Top me up! - Community Wine Reviews
