Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Nosing this wine was pretty sublime! Luscious black plum and black berry fruit, a little anise, and hints of minerality (graphite) all blend perfectly on the palate. Young grippy tannins be here, so it will still be remarkle with age. All the flavours linger on very nicely over a long luscious finish. A incredible value of a wine! Pair with Some take home ribs from Spark St. Rib fest!
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Blackberry and plum with a meaty character and hint of sweet cherry liqueur. Big, grippy tannins and a medium acidity go well with the big cassis, blackberry and plum flavours. A great wine for barbecued ribs.
The Californian winery Bonterra has been making organic wines for more than 20 years. This concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon displays aromas of blackberry, cassis and toasty mocha. Pair with organic meats.
