Reviews and Ratings

Jay Denney rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A kid sibling to the bigger and bruter Bin 0 and Thomson Family offerings, the Bin 1 Shiraz combines the quality of Best's with a weekday wine price. Rich with black fruits, including mulberry and chokechery jam, and a touch of menthol, this is quite a mouthful. Structured, yet smooth, this one can be pop'n poured alongside a braised beef poutine as I enjoyed.
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Bing cherries, blackberries, dark plums, mocha and a hint of mint.

Mid-way between savoury and jammy, this is a pleasant Shiraz that will do well on its own or with food. Smooth finish.

Tasted January 2019.
Best's Bin No. 1 2015 is a medium-plus-bodied Shiraz from the Great Western, Victoria with ripe blackberry, black plum, mint, savoury herb and anise spice flavours on the palate. Very generous fruit, matched with vibrant acidity. Supple and smooth and just an excellent food wine to pair with grilled pork chops. Great value as well. - Community Wine Reviews
